After getting rained out at Devil’s Tower we decided to head to Yellowstone. While driving, we realized that Ten Sleep Canyon was on the way. A few friends had been in previous years and raved about the place so we decided to check it out for a day or so. We wound up staying 5 days. It was a beautiful place, with awesome camping and fun climbing.
The land we were camping on also turned out to be open range for cattle.
The climbing was all single pitch sport on fun, pocketed, limestone. The bolting was also confidence inspiring allowing us to play around risk free on some harder routes. We realized at the end of our trip that we took no actual climbing pictures. We learned of a climb next to a waterfall and checked it out on our way out of the canyon. This time we actually took a picture.
