Boris at our campsite overlooking Cody, WY on the way into Yellowstone.
We spent three days exploring Yellowstone National Park. It was a bit of a shock to go from the peace and tranquility of Ten Sleep Canyon to the tourist crazy Yellowstone, but it was worth it to see this beautiful place. We spent our days visiting geothermal areas, hiking, viewing wildlife, and driving around this massive park. We also took a detour up to Montana for a night in the Gallatin National Forest.

Old Faithful in action with a zoo of tourists. We were lucky enough to show up 2 minutes before the eruption.

Mmmm, sulfur. While the features were cool to look at, they were a bit stinky.

The view from the top of Mt. Washburn. From here you can see all the way to Grand Teton National park.

Mt. Washburn summit views. This was a nice casual hike for some splendid views.

Wildlife on the prowl while hiking Mt. Washburn. This guy walked right up to us.

This little one was posing for the camera.

Grizzly bear seen in the only way you want to see a grizzly, from the safety of the car.
