After Yosemite, we headed north to the Lake Tahoe region. We also traveled west for a weekend to visit friends in the San Francisco bay area. Thanks for hosting us Dave and Sashont! We had a fun weekend back in civilization of plant swaps, bar time, and barbecuing. We also had an unplanned reunion with two of Steve’s friends from High School, Ian and Jarred.

Boris waiting for the day to warm us up so we could go climb at the Snowshed Wall.

Donner Summit, the same mountain pass that the infamous Donner party got stuck attempting to cross.

This looks like a dare, although it was definitely not the coldest water we have swam in this trip.

Look at that farmer’s tan!

Uh oh, Boris decides he does not want to start while we are stopped at Lake Tahoe. This is the beginning of some starter troubles.
